After seven generations of struggle between the Goshute Indians of western Utah and European settlers the tribe has been impoverished, stripped of its lands and relegated to a reservation. The tables turn when the tribe accepts an offer to store high-level nuclear waste on that reservation - only forty miles from Salt Lake City.
