WITHOUT Ambrose
Bierce Legend has it that the renowned author disappeared into the Mexican desert in 1913 to witness Pancho Villa’s revolution. Some scholars believe he was killed in the siege of Ojinaga in January 1914. Others speculate that Bierce never actually went to Mexico, but instead committed suicide. Now it’s your turn. In conjunction with the upcoming production, LST is sponsoring a short essay contest entitled, “What Happened to Ambrose?”
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: INCLUDE: RULES & REGS: The submissions must be original, unpublished and in English. One per person. LST reserves the right to use winning submissions for publicity both in print and online. JUDGING: A panel of judges will review each submission and winners will be announced in time for the opening of “AMBROSE BIERCE: Tales & Times.” Judges decisions are final.
